| Caset beat British School by 6 wkts in U-16 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, May 26: In the ongoing inter-school under-16 tournament, Caset School registered a six wickets win over Srinagar British School to advance into the next round here today.
Batting first, Srinagar British School lost all their wickets for 116 runs in the 24th over of the 30 overs match. Syed Furqan put up a brave face and scored 33 runs for his team. From Caset School, Faizan Mehraj and Haseeb Shah claimed three wickets each.
Later, Caset School chased the total in just 17 overs losing four wickets. Ovais, who played brilliant innings, fell short of six runs to complete his half century. He made 44 runs. Haseeb Shah also played well contributing unbeaten 40.
It is pertinent to mention here that eight best school teams are participating in this inter-school tournament underway at Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium, here.
