| Camp on ‘Disaster Management’ organized | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 26: Civil Defence Rajouri in collaboration with Iqra Foundation organized Disaster Management Camps at Behrot,Shahdara, Palma and Muradpur in Rajouri District in which near about 1750 students of the Sir Sayed Muslim Higher secondary school Behrot,Iqra public school Behrot, high school Shahdara, Government high School Palma, Azad Public School Palma and Government Middle School Muradpur, Modle Institute Muradpur were imparted first hand information regarding rescue, fire fighting, first aid and earthquake.
Lectures and practical demonstration sessions were held to equip the participants with useful methods and techniques of usages of equipments and tools in order to save human lives during natural calamities and man made calamities.
Civil Defence instructors including Rashpal Singh,Balwant Singh,Baldev Singh and Incharge Civil Defence Mohammed Afzal Mughal delivered lectures and demonstrated about usage of various equipments and tools during emergencies
In his address Shabir Rather Chief Executive of Iqra Foundation underlined the need and importance of organizing Disaster Management camps and urged that such more camps be organized .
