‘Sanasar to be developed as a tourist destination’

JAMMU, MAY 26: In recent panchayat elections in J&K the Sansar panchayat of district Ramban 35 year old educated labour leader Bodh Raj Salaria, state President NEITU (National Federation of Indian union) was elected as Sarpanch .
Bodh Raj called on the state president NCP former Minister Thakur Randhir Singh and requested him to attend a big two days panchayat conference at Sanasar 105 miles from Jammu the place is known mini Gulmarg with height 7000 ft and could be developed as a winter sports like skiing.
Singh a former Tourism Minister assured the newly elected Panchayat members it should have been built on the level of Gulmarg building more huts, better roads where hundred percent grants would have come from the centre to run winter sports at this place because of its beautiful slopes, snow and height.
Singh said Panchyats will only be developed if 73rd and 74th panchayat amendment acts passed by the predicament are totally implemented in J&K and all department funds including MLA, MP funds are diverted to Panchayat.
