| Minor killed, 8 hurt in Scorpio mishap | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 26: A seven-year-old boy was today killed and his eight family members were wounded when their Scorpio jeep hit a truck on the national highway at Jatwal near Samba.
Police sources said soon after the Scorpio (UP18/7604) hit the truck at Jatwal, all the nine injured Scorpio occupants were shifted to Samba district hospital where Krishan Shukla (7), son of
Sanjay Shukla of Uttar Pradesh, was declared brought dead.
Six of the injured were later referred to the GMC hospital here following deterioration in their condition.
In another incident, Imitiaz Ahmad of Sangaldhan and Wasim Ahmad of Gool were injured in a bus accident. They were hospitalised.Driver Baldev Singh fled the spot. Police had registered a case
against him.
