PHE employee beats man, son for voting against his will

JAMMU, May 26: A PHE employee today beat up a man and his son at Gurah Brahmana near here for voting against his will in panchayat elections.
In the panchayat polls held Wednesday at Gurah Brahmana, PHE employee Tarsem Lal had asked his tenant Romesh Kumar to vote in favour of his candidate.
However, when he came to know that Romesh had cast his vote against his will, he beat him up this morning. When his son Anshu tried to save him, he too was beaten.
Romesh later lodged a report in this connection with the concerned police station.
