| Samooh theatre organizes Natya Path of Khede –Khede ch | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 27: Samooh Theatre held a play reading of the Dogri play Khede –Khede ch today here at KL Sehgal Hall of the Cultural Academy Complex here.
Natya Path was organized in connection with book release function of the legend theater Director, Social and Progressive activist and Trade unionist Parveen Kesar. Prof. Champa Sharma Former HoD Dogri Department, Prof. Nirmal Kesar and Nirmal Kesar wife of Late Sh Parveen Kesar shared the presidium.
Prof Champa Sharma said Kesar had a lot of things in his mind to whom he wanted to give a real shape but the cruel destiny snatched him from us untimely. Savita Bakshi, Additional Secretary also spoke on the occasion. Mohan Singh, President Duggar manch, in his welcome addressed recalled his long association with Parveen Kesar. He also highlighted the contribution towards Jammu Theatre and literature.
He called Kesar a good human being and the real artist. Dr. Rattan Basotra presented paper on the book. Shivdev Singh Sushil presented vote of thanks. Artists presented Natya path were Dr. Sudhir Mahajan, Ravinder Sharma, Divya Kohli, Vikram Khatri, Avinash Lakhnotra and their performance were highly appreciated.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were N.D Jamwal, Jatinder Udhampuri, Dhian Singh, Brij Mohan, Raman Kesar Udhya Chand and Comrade Kaushal besides members of the trade unionist, theater and TV fraternity were also present.
