| Renovated park inaugurated | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, May 27: BJP MLA from Jammu East constituency Ashok Khajuria alongwith district president Rajesh Gupta inaugurated the renovated park in Kucha Nahar Singh Mohalla of Ward No. 1.
This park has been renovated by Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) by fixing Kota stone tiles, benches, railing, fencing with proper sewerage facility.
Ashok Khajuria, on this occasion, said that this park will prove to be of great benefit to the people of Kucha Nahar Singh Mohalla as they can use it for organizing functions besides recreation and walking.
He said that with the rise in population and construction of residential and commercial complexes, there has been very less space for setting up of such important spots in the city.
He asked the people to ensure that this park is well maintained and no one throws waste, empty bottles and polythene bags.
The programme was organized by Karan Singh and Naresh Abrol, who expressed gratitude on behalf of the people of area for getting the park renovated.
Shiv Kumar Gupta, Sanjiv Gupta, Sunil Dogra, Kuldeep Kandhari, Dalip Gupta, Bal Krishan Bhatti, Vijay Pahalwan, Mohan Lal Raina, Bua Dass Khajuria, Varinder Khajuria and a number of JMC officials were present on the occasion.
