| Symposium on ‘water is life’ held | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATRA, MAY 27- The Information Centre, Katra organized a symposium on “water is life” in Government Girls High School, Katra here today.
Chief Education Officer, Reasi, K. K. Sharma was the chief guest whereas Chairman Pineland Public School, Wazir Karan Singh was the guest of honour on the occasion.
As many as, 12 students participated in the symposium and Miss Samriti of 10th class was adjudged Ist, Arti Devi of 10th class 2nd and Shikha of 9th class was declared 3rd third. Besides, two consolation prizes were also given.
Headmaster, GGHS Katra, Mr. Harish Dubey thanked the Information department for organizing the symposium.
On the occasion, the school distributed uniforms, shoes, school bags and stationery articles among the meritorious students and the needy students of the school.
