| Priority to develop neglected areas: Khajuria | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, May 27:- A rousing reception was accorded to Yash Pal Khajuria, who was recently elected as Member State Legislative Council, by the large number of people in a function held at Town Hall Ram Nagar today.
Speaking on the occasion, Khajuria called upon the people to come forward and extent their full support in the implementation of the different programmes and policies of the UPA Government at the centre and coalition Government in the state for the progress of socio-economic transformation of the people in the state.
He assured that their genuine demands would be taken up with the concerned quarters for their early redressal. He said that every neglected area of the district would be given priority to boost the developmental activities without any partiality of caste, colour and creed. He further committed that every basic needs like drinking water, power supply and road connectivity would be fulfilled as early as possible.
In Ramnagar, heavy industry would be established soon to provide employment to the unemployed youth of the area, he assured.
He exhorted upon the officers to extend their full support to mitigate the problems faced by the people with latter and spirit manner so that the people may not suffer. |
