NC failed to carry forward development agenda: PDP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT MAHORE, May 27: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has flayed National Conference led coalition regime for its failure to take forward the development agenda of the previous PDP-Congress regime in the State. Addressing series of public meetings at Mahore and Sungli, senior PDP leader Daman Bhasin regretted that various developmental works started by the previous PDP-Congress regime for the upliftment of the backward areas have been stopped. He said that during his tenure as Chief Minister of the state, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed had formulated a comprehensive policy for the betterment and development of the backward neglected areas but the present regime has reversed the whole process due to its mis-goverance. He said that developmental activities in the State have came to standstill as the present government was more interested in just photo secessions rather than taking some steps on ground level. He especially pointed towards the Narloo-Tulibana road and said that work on this road has been stopped despite being the fact that it would connect as many as 10, 000 people after completion. He reminded that work on this road was started by the previous PDP led regime. He further said that work on Angrala to Nandimarg was also going on snail’s pace. Pointing towards the scarcity of ration in this belt, Daman Bhasin regretted that the present regime has failed to provide basic amenities to the common masses. He further said that during the last two and half years, performance of the present government appeared only on papers.
