Parvin Kesar’s ‘Kheda Kheda Ch’ released | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, May 27: Duggar Manch in collaboration with JK Academy of Art, Culture and Languages organized a book release function in which a book entitled ‘Kheda Kheda Ch’ written by Parvin Kesar released here at K L Saigal Hall. ‘Kheda Kheda Ch’ is a collection of two plays, first one is a full-length play for stage and another is a street play namely ‘Ekar Dukar Pambe Paun’. Pravin Kesar was fully dedicated to theatre and literature through out his life. Founder member of all J and K Youth Cultural Association and Duggar Manch, Parvin Kesar started his career as a director in early 70's with Hindi plays and afterward shifted towards Dogri plays. Rakshash Te Raje Di Beti Nami Awaz, Gokul Choor, Yudh, Paise Aste, Hikhi were some of his best productions in Dogri. Aadmi Ka Zahar, Singhasan Khali.The book release function was presided over by veteran journalist, editor in chief Kashmir Times group of news papers Ved Bhasin and chief guest was Prof. Champa Sharma, a noted writer and Sahitya Akademi Awardee.Savita Bakshi, additional secretary Jammu was the guest of honour. Rattan Basotra presented a paper and glimpses from the play Kheda Kheda Ch were presented by Samooh theatre.
