| Gool block to go to polls on May 29 | | 126 polling stations set up | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, MAY 28- With the dispatch of Polling staff from Higher Secondary School Gool to all the 126 polling stations, the stage is all set to ensure smooth conduct of Panchayat Election-2011 in block Gool scheduled to take place on May 29, 2011 .
According to Block Development Officer, Mr. Wasim Raja there are 18 Panchayats in block Gool 25676 voters which include 12,261 male and 13,415 female voters.
For the fair and smooth conduct of Panchayat Election, the District Panchayat Election Officer, Ramban has appointed 06 Returning Officers, 12 Assistant Returning Officers, 126 Presiding Officers and 252 Polling Officers. To ensure better coordination, Gool block has been divided in 06 zones and 12 sectors for which equal number of Zonal and Sectoral Magistrate has already been deployed.
Later, the District Panchayat Election Officer, Ramban along with SP Ramban, Mr. Anil Magotra also visited the venue of the distribution of polling material to the polling parties and paid his satisfaction over the arrangement done by the concerned officers of the block.
