| UNIFORM FORCE ORGANIZED CRICKET TOURNAMENT FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN | | |

Counter Insurgency Force (Uniform) Signal Regiment organized a Cricket Tournament for School Children of Reasi, Mahore, Gul and Budha areas to commemorate the ongoing Communal Harmony Week. The children belonging to different caste, creed and religion participated in the tournament. The tournament saw many interesting moments and display of sportsman spirit in the young children. The final match, was played today between Chinkah-Reasi and Gul, was won by the school children of Chinkah-Reasi. The match was witnessed by General Officer Commanding, Uniform Force besides other senior military and civil dignitaries. A strong gathering of over 2000 locals thronged the stadium.
Mrs. Denise Bhatnagar presented Trophy the winner as part of the communal Harmony Week, the prizes to other participants and sports items to the school of Reasi, Mahore and Budhal Tehsils participating in the tournament were also given. Speaking on the occasion the GOC reiterated that Uniform Force is totally committed to ushering in peace and prosperity through developmental projects, and bringing together people of all religions.
The citizens and teachers of Reasi, Mahore and Budhal expressed their guatitude to Uniform Force for organizing the match and distributing the sports items.
