| ‘Handicrafts department needs to be re-organised’ | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 28: The executive body meeting of J&K non-gazetted Handicrafts employees Association held under the Chairmanship of Vijay Singh Sambyal, President of the association.
In the meeting Vijay Singh Sambyal appreciated the government including Chief Minister, minister for Industries and Commerce along with Director Handicrafts for enhancing the trainees stipend from Rs l 00-200 to Rs 500-700 per month both for elementary and advance 553 Handicrafts training centers running in the state.
It is well known to the fact that Handicrafts products of this state have great viability and demand in the entire areas of the Country and Foreign as well. He also demanded that the department may be re-organised.
