LeT hideout busted in Kishtwar mountains, ammunition recovered | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, May 28: A man-made hideout of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) district commander Habib Gujjar alias Salman was today smashed by security forces in Bhalna mountains of Keshwan, Kishtwar. Acting on a tip-off, a joint column of police and army launched an operation in the thickly forested mountains of Bhalna last night. The troops, who continued searches the whole night, came across the LeT hideout at about 8.25 am Saturday, police sources said. Its search led them to the recovery of one Chinese grenade, 14 AK rounds, three blankets, one bedsheet, three glasses, two cooking utensils and a water container. The hideout was later destroyed by the troops, the sources added. |
