JAMMU, May 28: A man, who supplied fake gemstone to pandits and goldsmiths here, was today apprehended by police at Janipura.
Police sources said following complaints against him, cops apprehended Rakesh Kumar of sector 41, Chandigarh, along with fake gemstones, including sapphire, amethyst and citrine.
These fake gemstones were to be sold by him to pandits and goldsmiths here, the sources added.
A case was registered against him at the Janipura police station. |
