| 2 killed, 35 hurt in road mishaps | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 28: Two persons were killed and 35 others wounded in separate road accidents here since last night.
A minibus (JK14A/5814) rolled down into a gorge at Padraka in Ramnagar, Udhampur, today as a result of which one person got killed while 35 others sustained injuries, police sources said.
The dead, whom sources identified as Gyan Chand (80), hailed from Lader, Ramnagar.
The injured were hospitalised.
In another incident, Darshan Lal, son of Babu Ram of Rajwal, Akhnoor, was killed after a tipper hit him near Sua No 1, Akhnoor, last night.
Police had registered cases in this connection. |
