| JU to face KCCC in quarters tomorrow | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 29: The confident side of University of Jammu (JU) shall take on Kishen Chand Cricket Club (KCCC) in the quarterfinals of the 2nd 2nd Pran Nath Malhotra Memorial Cricket Tournament, at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here on May 31.
Earlier, in the second round tie, JU registered an emphatic 50 win over Government SPMR College of Commerce.
Sailing on superb innings from Sachin (45) and Ajit Pal Singh (41), JU piled up 241 runs, which, in reply, Commerce College could not chase and the whole side bowled out for 190 runs in 43 overs.
Mohinder Pal Singh clinched four important wickets and Irshad took two from JU.
