| Civil military liaison meeting organised at Mandirgala | | | Early Times Report
MANDIRGALA (Rajouri), May 28: A company of Rashtriya Rifles of Romeo Force located at Mandirgala took initiative of organizing Civil Military liaison meeting, which provided the locals of the area a platform to voice their grievances and put forward their demands to the representatives of the Civil Administration.
Meeting was attended by the officials of various departments of the civil administration, newly elected Panchayat representatives, village elders and Moulvis of the region. Aim of the meeting was to organise interactive session between locals and civil administration and also spread socio-economic awareness amongst the Villagers.
Locals projected their genuine demands and grievances to officials who gave them patient hearing and promise to resolve the issues. Meeting was chaired by commanding officer of Rashtriya Rifles Battalion. He congratulated newly elected office bearers of Panchayats and conveyed his good wishes for their successful tenure.
During the meeting various issues related to infrastructure development, community development and civic amenities were discussed. Civil officials deliberated upon various government schemes and steps being undertaken for development of the area. They also assured gathering of streamline the process so that the benefits of development schemes reach the poorest and the weakest in the society.
