| Acute shortage of DAP, urea in Nowshera | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, May 29: MLA & a senior leader of National Conference Radhay Sham Sharma today said that the people of Nowshehra are facing great hardship due to acute shortage of D.A.P, Urea, M.O.P Fertilizers, drinking water coupled with Erratic Electric Supplies which includes daily unscheduled power cuts particularly after 9 p.m. onwards
Sharma urged upon Minister for Agricullture Ghullam Hassan Mir to issue directions to Director Agriculture Jammu and to the Agencies responsible for the Procurement & Distribution of Fertilizers and immediately dispatch adequate supplies of D.A.P; Urea and M.O.P, : fertilizers as per demand
Sharma also appealed to the Minister for P.H.E Irrigation & Flood Control Department to release 100% funds for the already approved 21 water Supply Schemes for Nowshera Constituency and also release funds for the construction of Deep Bore Wells, Shallow Wells and for the installation of Hand Pumps at all the critical places already identified
Sharma also appealed to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, to come to the rescue of general public and in particular of the patients and students community of by issuing directions for providing uninterrupted and quality electric supplies to the general public of his constituency and to avoid Daily Power Cuts after 9 p.m. onwards during current Hot Summer, demanded Sharma.
