The festival, which was inaugurated by state Tourism Minister Nawang Rigzin Jora on Friday is showcasing the rich culture and customs of Bhaderwah.
"The purpose of this festival is to showcase the rich culture and customs of Bhaderwah to tourists and to enhance the tourists influx in the town. We have tried to organise the festival on a larger scale than the last time," said Jora.
Appreciating the locals' participation in the festival Jora said the four-day cultural festival would open several avenues for business in tourism sector.
Ashish Gupta, one of the participants of the festival, said Bhaderwah with its scenic beauty is 'paradise on earth' and has immense potential to become a major tourist spot of the country.
"Several tourists have come to attend this festival, I would like to say Bhaderwah is 'paradise on earth', it is more beautiful than even Kashmir and Himachal and has a lot of potential for tourism. Tourists would get all facilities like hotels and others; they will find their place in our hearts," said Gupta.
