Two day long Golden Guitar Music Festival organized by Nirvana Academy concluded today at Police Auditorium , Gulshan Ground
Inspector General of police, Jammu zone Dilbag Singh, was the chief guest on the occasion. Golden Guitar Music Fest. 2011 was a 2 day long musical festival in which Music bands Contest was held in different categories here today. More than 12 bands took part in the competition and they were Super solitude, Roving Sikhs, Nemesis, Srishti- the rock band, Underscore, Paradox, Zikrr, Indian Eagles, Showstoppers, Gladiators, Soul Mate Rock band and Ruinous. Programme started with the performances of Sumit Khajuria, a vocalist and a guitarist followed by the bands competition in infants, amateur and professional categories. Guest performances of Saptak- instrumental by Kuldeep Kumar in Indian classical on guitar was the main highlight of the evening. Jagmeet Singh, the most senior guitarist and music composer was felicitated with the Golden Guitar Artistic Contribution Achievement Award on the occasion for his services in the field of music and guitar.
