| JU students form NSF | | | JAMMU NOV 21 National Students Forum (NSF), with an aim to highlight students problem without politicizing the issues being faced by students in the educational institutes, launched here today at JU. Speaking on the occasion, Amolak Singh, Chairman of the Forum said that this forum has been constituted keeping view that prevailing situation in the educational institutions where the students are being exploited by the political parties to fulfill their political agendas and the institutions have became the hub. The students are divided on the name of religion, caste, creed and region. He declared that this forum is totally non-political and our main motive is aware the students by organizing rallies, workshops, seminars, debates, etc. on human rights, drug abuses aid awareness, fighting against communalism, militancy apart from that highlighting the students problems. Gurdeep Singh Pandey, President of the forum said that this forum will consist students from every community and part of the entire state. He appreciated the initiatives taken by Prof Amitabh Matoo, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Jammu University. He also raises certain issues like Election of Students Union and meeting hall for students.
