JAMMU, May 30:
In order to carry out the work of augmentation of Receiving Station Transport Nagar from 6.3 MVA to 10 MVA, the power supply to Transport Nagar, Narwal, Fruit Mandi Complex, Railway Colony, NABARD Complex, part of Bhatindi, Qasim Nagar, Rajiv Nagar and PHE feeder shall remain affected on May 31 from 6 am to 6 pm.
Meanwhile, to carry out the branch cutting & general maintenance of 33 KV Janipur-New Secretariat line, the power supply to Kacchi Chawni, Dogra Hall, Indira Chowk, Bus Stand, Part of Jewel Chowk, Raghunath Bazar, Shalamar Chowk, Kanak Mandi, part of Rehari, B C Road, Resham Ghar Colony and adjoining areas shall remain affected on June 1 from 6 am to 10 am.
The essential feeders i.e PHE Parade, MLA Hostel, Telephone Exchange and SMGS Hospital shall run from 33 KV Company Bagh-New Secretariat line.
According to Superintending Engineer, Electric M & RE Circle-I, Jammu, the shut down is subject to fair weather conditions.
