| Lok Adalat held at Reasi | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
REASI, May 30:
District and Tehsil Legal Services Authority, Reasi , under the chairmanship of Principal District & Session Judge Reasi, R K Watel , today convened a Lok Adalat at Reasi Court Complex in which 21 cases were take-up out of which, 3 pre-litigation and 9 post litigation cases were decided.
An award of Rs 78225 was passed in bank pre-litigation cases, Rs 23000 were recovered on the spot and a compoundable fine of Rs 1950 was imposed in petty criminal cases.
The Lok Adatat was presided over by Pr. District & Session Judge Reasi, R K Wattal who was assisted by Chief Judicial Magistrate Reasi, O P Thakur. A number of litigants also attended the Lok Adalat.
The next Lok Adalat in the district is scheduled to be held on June 6. The litigant and general public who are interested to get their cases settled in the Lok Adalat shall approach the respective courts.
