JAMMU, May 30: Eight promising cueists have made it to the quarterfinals of the junior snooker event in the ongoing 21st J&K State Billiards and Snooker Championship at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here today. Now, these eight players have been divided into two groups of A and B for the quarterfinals league round starting tomorrow. Meanwhile, draws for the senior snooker event shall be held tomorrow at 6 pm, followed by the competition starting from June three. Earlier, in the pre-quarterfinals, Abhishek Goswami, Gautam Jamwal and Janu Gupta had easy outings against their opponents while Nitin Sharma, Pankaj Sharma, Aditya Sharma, Deepak Singh and Ishan Chowdhary faced some resistance before they emerged winners.
