| Symposium on Bio Diversity conservation held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, May 30: A symposium was organised in Government Higher Secondary School, Kootah (Kathua) on “Bio- diversity conservation.”
According to a press release, Ved Parkash chairperson WWF-India Jammu and Kashmir was the chief guest on the occasion. With a motive to spread awareness among the masses about the Bio-Diversity conservation, a rally was also organised which passed through the Main Bazar (Kootah) and streets.
The rally, press release said, concluded in the School.
Earlier, while addressing gathering, especially school children the chairman Ved Prakash appraised them about the mission of WWF India which is nature conservation and environment protection.
Principal, GHSS Kootah I. D. Sharma also addressed the students. Pawan Gupta staff secretary acted as stage secretary. In the debate competition Satish Paul, Sunidhi and Sonam received first, second and third positions respectively.
