SDSS flays Dass’ statement on Shah’s expulsion | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, May 30: Sadhu Dharamasthan Surakshini Samiti (J&K) has flayed the statement made by Mahant Rameshwar Dass where under he has said that the working president of the Samiti Mahant Subash Shah has been removed by him from the Samiti. In a joint press statement issued by all the members of the executive body of Sadhu Dharamsthan Suraksni Samiti it has rubbished the claim by Mahant Rameshwar Dass of having the authority to expel any member of the Samiti. Mahant Rameshwar Dass of Purani Mandi Mandir Jammu has no locus standi in the Samiti as he holds no authority and position in the Samiti. Mahant Subash Shah on the other hand has been associated actively with the Samiti for a long time and has been rendering valuable services and contribution in the programmes organized by the Samiti and for maintaining unity among the Sadhu Samaj, to jointly serve the society and the cause of Hindu Religion, the statement has added. Samiti has been acting as the watchdog for preserving and well being of religious Shrines of Hindus in J&K and Mahant Subash Shah has been highly active in the same. The signatories to the statement include Mahant Sangrandh Gri, president of the Samiti, Mahant Ramesh Gri senior vice president, working president Mahant Subash Shah, Mahant Dutt Suri, Mahant Shanti Gri Mahant Inder Dass general secretary Mahant Bhola Dass Ji and Ravindra Nand, Swami Divaganad, Mahant Chandarmani, Mahant Digambar Dass, Mahant Arun Gri, Vidhaya Nand, Mahant Surindar Dass , Mahant Mahesh Das and Mahant Sharan Gri.
