Ashok Khajuria gets laying of water pipes started | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, May 30: Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Ashok Khajuria, along with District President Rajesh Gupta, today got the work started of laying water pipes started in Dogra Mohalla situated besides Amar Singh Club in Vikram Chowk area. Ashok Khajuria and Rajesh Gupta also inaugurated the recently completed work of tiles fixing and covering of nallah passing through Ware House. The work for laying of water pipes is being executed by PHE and will cost rupees three lakh while Jammu Municipal Corporation has completed the work at Ware House by spending rupees 2.5 lakh. Ashok Khajuria, on the occasion, said that the problem of drinking water supply in the Dogra Mohalla will be solved with the laying of pipes and people will get respite in these days of scorching heat. Similarly, with the covering of open nallah and fixing of tiles, the long pending demand of the residents of Ware House area has been fulfilled. BJP MlA said that during the summers there is a dire need of regular supply of electricity and drinking water and he himself is taking this issue with the concerned departments at the highest levels so that people are not made to suffer. Besides senior officials UEED,JMC and PHE, a large number of BJP activists including Sunil Dogra, Naresh Pradhan, Subedar Gurcharan Singh, Rajesh Bhalla, Joginder Raj, Ashok Kumar, Opinder Singh, Bhushan Kumar, Geeta Devi and Dayawanti were present on the occasion.
