| Doordarshan staffer's wife runs brothel, allege 2 city youth | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 30: Two city youth, against whom a doordarshan staffer's wife today lodged a report of burglary, took police by surprise when they alleged that the woman ran a brothel from her house at Janipura.
Sahil and Sachin alleged that the woman last night demanded Rs 5,000 for them when they went to her. However, when they refused to make the payment, she lodged a "false" report of burglary against them with the Janipura police station, police sources said, quoting them.
Police learnt about it when they apprehended them on the basis of the woman's report.
Police were, however, now trying to find out the truth in the woman's report and also the allegations made by the two youth.
The woman was also taken to the government hospital, Sarwal, for her medical examination.
Another report said the woman was admitted to Sarwal hospital after cops beat her up at the police station. |
