| Plus 2 lecturers meet Peerzada, apprised him of demands | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 31: Minister for Education Jenab Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed has agreed to get the regularization of Incharge incumbents in School Education Department in accordance with the decision of state cabinet dated March 29,2010.
This was disclosed by the Minister for Education when a delegation of All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers’ forum led by its president H.D Qureshi met Peerzada at his official residence at Jammu.
The delegation comprising Charan Dass and Manmeet Bali, both Vice Presidents, N.S Jamwal, General Secretary, Ashwani Sharma, Chief Organiser, B.D Sharma, District President Jammu, O.P Katoch, Talib Hussain, Gurcharan Singh ( Principal) besides Qureshi discussed wide ranging issues that include implementation of announcement with regard to the intermediate colleges, benefits of running pattern. Further elevation of lecturers to the rank of senior lecturers, elevation as Principals, CEO’s and Joint Directors.
The forum strongly advocated for creation of posts in the newly upgraded Higher Secondary Schools to ensure the release of salary in favour of faculty working in the institutions upgraded through internal arrangements.
The forum gave the suggestive proposal for the appointment of academic officers in the Board of School Education in sufficient number in different disciplines.
The Minister for education after a comprehensive discussion assured the delegation that he is once again taking the issue of Regularization to the State Cabinet for regularization as “One Time Exception” and address all other issues on priority.
