| J&K Bank accords warm send-off to ED, President | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, May 31: After putting in more than 38 years of service in J&K Bank, Executive Director & Chief Operating Officer (COO) Ashok Kumar Mehta, and President, Kuldeep Kumar Sharma were accorded a warm send off here today on attaining the age of superannuation.
Many farewell gatherings were held to honour them for their distinguishing contribution in the bank’s uninterrupted growth and development. The main farewell function was presided over by the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Mushtaq Ahmad.
Mushtaq Ahmad, Bank’s Chairman & CEO hailed their contribution and exemplary performance.
Speaking at the farewell gathering, A K Mehta thanked management and employees of the bank for their total support and cooperation.
“I feel honoured and happy today for being part of J&K Bank family for more than three decades. The journey in the bank has been illustrious and rewarding for me as personally and professionally. I acknowledge it and Thank you all for everything”, Mehta said.
Expressing his views K K Sharma said, “My association with this organization has been the most precious part of life and it will continue to be so”.
Bank’s Executive Directors, Presidents and Vice-Presidents, senior Executives were also present on the occasion to see off the retiring officials.
