| BMS to celebrate Kabir Jayanti, demands holiday | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 31: Bhagat Mahasabha has demanded declaration of gazetted holiday on June, 15 which is the Prakash Utsav of Sadguru Kabir Sahib Ji.
Bhagat Maha which is holding a state level function at Parade ground, Jammu on Wednesday, June 15th, 2011 today organized a press club Jammu which was addressed by Prof. Raj Kumar Bhagat, National President, President, Bhagat Mahasabha where he strongly appealed the Government of Jammu and Kashmir to declare June 15 as Holiday.
He said that the thousands of Kabir Panthis from neighboring states and all over Jammu province will participated in the function and the figure is expected to touch 50,000 at Parade ground’s function. All meritorious students of the community newly selected IAS, IFS, KAS & KPS Officers from Bhagat Biradari will be honored on the occasion. A part from this newly elected Sarpanch and Panch from the community will also be honored on the occasion. Langer and Shabeel will be served to the Sangat.
Various national leaders of the Biradari from Bhagat Mahasabha will also address the mammoth crowd. Bodh Raj Bhagat Mahasabha J&K, appealed the Mega Community to reach in large number at Parade Ground to celebrate the Parkash Utsav of Sant Kabir Shib Ji. Others who were present include Mohinder Bhagat, Swarn Lal Bhagat, Chanchal Bhagat, Sheela Bhagat and Tara Chand Bhagat.
