| Symposium on ‘Role of Youth in Disaster Management’ held | | | Early Times Report
KATRA, June 1: Information Centre, Katra organized symposium on the topic “Role of Youths in Disaster Management” at Government High school, Sirah in district Reasi today.
Chief Education Officer, Reasi, K. K. Sharma was the chief guest while Headmaster GGHS Katra, Harish Dubey presided over the function. In all 10 students of the school participated. Roshni Devi of 9th class, Sonia Sharma of 9th class and Shivali Devi of 10thclass were declared Ist, 2nd and 3rd respectively. Seema Devi and Sheetal Kumari of 9th class were given consolation prizes.
Chief Education Officer, Reasi, in his address threw light on the topic and hailed the Information Department for holding the symposium and desired such type of programmes in other schools of the district.
