| AISF holds protest: Presents memorandum to DDC | | | Early Times Report
DODA, June 1: Continuing with their week long Protest Dharna by the students of Doda under the banner of All India Students Federation, a rally was held by the students at Doda.
The rally was led by AISF District President Mukesh Parihar. In the rally more than hundred students from different educational institutions of the Doda joined the rally by AISF which commenced from old Bus Stand Doda and marched through the market of Doda town and lastly culminated at DDC Office complex Doda.
The students were demanding immediate start of University Campus of Jammu University at Doda, PG Classes in Govt. Degree College Doda, separate boys and girl’s hostel at GHSS Boys and Girls Doda, Polytechnic College at Doda etc.
Later on the students presented memorandum to DDC Doda, Farooq, Ahmed Khan who assured the students that in the next session polytechnic class would be started in Doda. DDC Doda further assured that he would talk to the higher authorities regarding other demands.
