| Sudan appointed distt president PD Trade Union | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 1:
In order to strengthen the J&K People’s Democratic Trade Union C K Sudan, a senior Trade Union leader, has been appointed as District President of the Trade wing of the party with immediate effect.
The appointment has been made by Suresh Sharma President of the Union in the larger interest of the working class and to bring more and more employees /workers association in the fold of PDTU.
C K Sudan while assuming the charge vowed to work for the betterment of the working class of the statement and make every effort to highlight and ameliorate the conditions of the workers in Public and Pvt. Sectors. She demanded that minimum wages Act should be made effective in the State practically and more over steps should be taken to increase the rate of interest on the contribution of the CP fund from 8% to 10% .She said that Distt. Unit of the PDTU shall be strengthened very soon with the inclusion of more season trade Union leaders and representatives of the working class in the district body. She hailed the efforts of Sharma in making tireless efforts to strengthen the PDTU and raise the voice of the workers and employees before different forums.
