| Start execution of work on four bridges at Mahore: Malik directs R&B | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, June 1:
Minister for Higher Education, Abdul Gani Malik today directing R&B authorities to start construction work at a cost of Rs. 12 crore on 4 bridges in Mahore in Reasi district.
The Minister issued this direction during his 3-days extensive tour of Reasi district. He said the funds for the purpose have already been sanctioned.
Giving details of the proposed bridges, the Minister said the first bridge would connect Suchnallha with Tulibana another bridges would be constructed on Ahralnallah connecting Mahore with Shikari village. Third bridge would connect Sungri with Kotli and the fourth one would be constructed in Phallani connecting Tulibana.
During his visit to Mahore Malik distributed 25 cheques among the deserving persons under IAY and old age pension schemes.
Addressing several public meetings at Chittal, Sungri, Jamlan, Bathoie and Mahore, Malik said that Government is committed to provide all basic facilities to uncovered belts of the State in a phased manner.
Later, the Minister attended a farewell party organized in honour of one retiring officer Abdul Hamid Qazi. |
