| Culture Academy, Urdu dept, JU organise mushaira | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 1:
J&K Academy Of Art Culture and Languages in collaboration with Department of Urdu , University of Jammu organized all India Mushaira in connection with the internationally centenary celebration on Faiz Ahmed Faiz here today at Prof . Gian Chand Jain Hall, University of Jammu .
On the Occasion Arash Sehbai , internationally reputed Urdu poet was the chief guest While Shamima Akhtar Additional Secretary Central, J&K Academy of Art , Culture and Languages , Tanveer Bhadharwahi and Prof Shoab Inayat Malik shared the presidium .
Earlier , Prof Shoab Inayat Malik welcomed the guests in his address he highlighted the literary contribution of Faiz Ahmed Faiz to Urdu literature .
He also put light on the new trends established by Faiz especially in Urdu poetry .
Shamima Akhtar Additional Secretary Central , J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages presented vote of thanks in her address She congratulated to all the poets for reciting their fabulous poets which mesmerized audience.
