| Nightingale Pre-School win seven medals in Karate championship | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 1:
Karatekas of Nightingale (Pre - School) participated in the recently held Open District Jammu Kofukan Shitu Ryu Karate Do Championship, 2011 held at Rotary Club Gandhi Nagar.
Besides this school, various Karatekas (about 250) from other schools also participated in this Championship.
Seven Karatekas of Nightingale performed to their level best and brought laurels to this school. This school won two gold, two silver and three bronze medals in this Championship. The medal winners are: Bhavya Mengi, Samrath Singh, Dhruv Raj, Arnav Sharma, Devasheesh Mahajan, Ashish Kour, Punarvasu Mishra in different categories.
Chairperson of the school Priya Sethi was the Guest of Honour on the occassion whereas Yudhvir Sethi (BJP State Secy.) was the Chief Guest. This Championship was sponsored by Nightingale (Pre School).
Speaking on the occassion Yudhvir Sethi, Chief Guest, strongly appreciated the participating Karatekas and praised the organisers which include AKAJK team. He also stated that AKAJK is a reputed association in the field of Karate since long. He also praised Kofukan Shitu Ryu Karate School, J&K which is totally dedicated to improve the level of this sport in J&K,.
The Participants were coached under the able guidance of Sanjeev Dewan, Chief Instructor, Sikoki, Chief Instructor, 4th Degree Black Belt, AI KF.
