| Tahir XI clinches 6-wkts win | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 01: Tahir XI defeated Sartingal XI by six wickets in the ongoing Erstwhile Doda District Level Cricket Tournament, organised by Jammu wing of JKCA at PG College ground, Bhaderwah today.
Batting first, Sartingal XI scored a meagre total of 126 runs in 24 overs with Zafar contributing highest 33 runs and Lucky chipping in with 19 runs to the total. Amir and Rashid Khan scalped 3 wickets each for Zakir XI.
Zakir XI, in reply chased the required target in 16 overs by losing 4 wickets, thus won the match by six wickets.
Mushtaq top scored with 45 runs while Yasir Nazar contributed 15 runs to the total. Sadam and Javed took one wicket each for Sartingal XI.
Rashid Khan of Tahir XI was adjudged man of the match for his fabulous bowling show. The match was officiated by Irfan and Irif as umpires while Amjad maintained the scorebook.
