| NIFD holds annual convocation, Miss India Earth awards Diplomas | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER

Annual convocation function of Inter National Institute of Fashion Design (INIFD), Jammu was held at Brig. Rajinder Singh Auditorium of Jammu University here today. Femina Miss India Earth 2005, Niharika Singh awarded Diplomas to the students of the institute.
At the annual convocation, students from the streams of Fashion Design, Interior Design and Textile Design were awarded their Diplomas and Trophies and the toppers were honored for their achievements. Addressing the students, Niharika Singh congratulated the budding designers and wished them all luck to make a mark in the world of fashion and designing.
Centre Head, INIFD, Vanita Thakur read out the annual report and informed that last year their centre has bagged the “Best Centre in Academics” award given by Annamalai University. At the end of the convocation, an interactive chat session was held between Niharika and the students of the institute. She also interacted openly with the students.
