| Two held for black-marketing, 309 LPG cylinders seized | | |

Police today arrested a driver of truck loaded with gas cylinder and a shopkeeper for black-marketing gas cylinder at Tikri and seized 309 gas cylinders on spot.
According to reports police booked a specific information that a truck loaded with Indane company gas cylinder black marketing the cylinder to local shopkeeper at Tikri and on the direction of SSP Udhampur Prithvi Raj Manhas a police party led by SHO Katra SS Sambyal and Chowki incharge Tikri police post Raghuveer Singh raided on spot and arrested two person red handed for black-marketing and also seized 309 gas cylinder in truck No. JK02E-9855 the arrested person had been identified as driver and owner of the truck Swarn Singh S/o Karnail Singh R/o Mishriwala, Jammu ad shopkeeper namely Mangat Ram S/o Munshi Ram R/o Tikri and took them to police station for further interrogation where during interrogation the driver of the truck told police that he loaded the truck from Bari-Brahmna Indane Gas company and on way to Kishtwar to deliver them in gas agency.
Sources said he was active from many years and police has already booked a lot of complaints that a truck black-marketing the gas cylinder in the area.
