| Conference on ‘Communication systems and Network technologies’ held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATRA, June 2: The first IEEE International conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies is being organized in Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Kakrayal.
The conference will be held from 3rd June to 5th June. The inaugural function will be on 3rd June in the Matrika auditorium from 9:45 am onwards.
The chief guest for the conference will be Padma Vibushan, N.N. Vohra, the Governor, Jammu and Kashmir (Chancellor, SMVD Univeristy). The conference will be addressed by Prof. R N Bamezai, Vice Chancellor and the Convener of the conference, Dr. Amit Kant Pandit.
Along with him there will be some eminent personalities from across the globe, Prof. Snasel Vaclav, Czech Republic, Dr. Shuja Ahmad Abbasi, Saudi Arabia, Prof. Ajith Abraham, Austarlia, Dr. Kusum Deep, IIT Roorkee, Prof. Rajeev Tripathi, MNNIT, Allahabad, India, Prof. G S Tomar, Gwalior, Captain S K Thakur, Director NRB, and Prof. Hun Mandaloo, IIT Delhi. All these distinguished personalities will be proceeding over various sessions during the conference.
This is the first step which is being taken by any institution in the state of Jammu and Kashmir to organize such an international conference. It will be a great platform which will help students get acquainted with the latest developments in the field of communication and network technologies.
