Villagers advise to remain in door

Srinagar, Jun 2 : The defence authorities have directed people of 16 villages in the central Kashmir district of Badgam to remain indoor to avoid accidents during artillery practice by troops from June 7.
An official spokesman said here today that a communication was received from Commanding Officer field firing range Tosamaidan by Deputy Commissioner, Badgam, that troops would be carrying out artillery practices in the range from June 7 to June 12.
The practice will begin from 0800 hrs to 1630 hrs and resume from 1900 hrs to 2100 hrs.
The inhabitants of villagers of Lachmanpora, Khaipora, Lassipora, drung, Habber, Kadlabal, Khanpora, Shunglipora, Zoogukharian, Sithaharan, Saigalipora, Chill, Gutlipora, Khandpora, Pabhanpora, Batapora and Brass are advised to remain Indoors during firing hours.
