| Power shut down | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, JUNE 02- To carry out the branch cutting and urgent repair work along 33 KV G-6 and G-7 feeders, the power supply to Narwal, Fruit Mandi, Transport Nagar, part of Bathindi, Qasim Nagar, Rajiv Nagar, NABARD complex, PHE feeder emanating from Transport Nagar and adjoining areas fed from 33 KV G-7 feeder shall remain affected on June 3, 2011 from 7.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. and power supply to Bathindi, Channi Himmat, Channi Rama, Vidhata Nagar, Sainik Colony, Sunjwan, Chowadi and adjoining areas fed from 33 KV feeder shall also remain affected on June 4,2011 from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Meanwhile, to carry out the stringing work of span 241-242 of 220 KV D/C Barn- Bishnah- Hiranagar transmission line, the shut down of 132 KV D/C Hiranagar- Samba line emanating from Grid Station Hiranagar for four days i.e. June 3 to 6, 2011 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. is allowed. The power supply to the said areas shall be fed from Samba Grid Station and Bari Brahmana-II and there will be no curtailment during the shut down period.
The shut down shall be subject to fair weather conditions.
