| Pritam elected Sarpanch of Dhan Panchayat | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, June 2: Pritam Singh Jamwal was on Thursday registered an impressive victory from Panchayat segment Dhan in block Dansal which went to polls during the 13th phase of multi-phased rural bodies’ polls There were six candidates were in fray for the Panchayat segment Dhan.
Jamwal is presently serving as the general secretary of Pradesh Congress Committee (rural).
Panchayat elections are being held in Jammu and Kashmir after a gap of 33 years.
Expressing his gratitude to electorates, Jamwal said that the development of the entire Panchayat segment would be his priority and he would personally take up the genuine grievances of poor and down trodden with authorities concerned for early redressal.
