| Sikh voters can file claims for correction in SGPC electoral rolls | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, JUNE 02-As per a notice issued here today by the Election Authority SGPC Election, it is notified for the information of all concerned that as per the instructions of the Financial Commissioner Revenue J&K, draft electoral rolls of Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee of erstwhile district Jammu have been prepared out of Final Assembly Electoral Rolls of 2011 and placed in different offices for public inspection during office hours.
In this regard, all Sikh voters of the area falling under 71-Gandhinagar, 72-Jammu East and 73-Jammu West Assembly constituencies can approach Secretary Jammu, Municipal Corporation, Sikh voters of the area falling under 70-Nagrota, 77-Marh and 78-Raipur Domana Assembly constituencies can contact Tehsildar Jammu, Sikh voters of the area falling under 68-Samba and 69-Vijaypur Assembly constituencies can approach Tehsildar Samba, Sikh voters of the area falling under 74-Bishnah Assembly constituency can contact Tehsildar Bishnah, Sikh voters of tehsil R S Pura can contact Tehsildar R S Pura, Sikh voters of tehsil Akhnoor can approach Tehsildar Akhnoor and Sikh voters can also approach all main Gurdawaras in their respective areas.
All eligible Sikh voters who qualify the age of 18 years as on 1-1-2011 and are permanent residents of J&K State, but do not exist in the draft electoral rolls or not correctly registered or there is objection with regard to the registration of any voter in the SGPC electoral rolls can file their claims and objections for addition, deletion or correction of names in the SGPC electoral rolls in the office of the above mentioned officers on plain paper by or before 8th June, 2011 positively. After the expiry of the said date no application will be entertained.
