| Review meeting regarding arrangement of Amarnath Yatra held | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 2: In order to discuss the arrangement for smooth conduct of Shree Amarnath Ji Yatra-2011, a meeting of all the concerned officers was held today under the Chairmanship of District Development Commissioner Ramban Shabir Ahmed Bhat (KAS) which was attended by Addl. Deputy Commissioner Ramban (Sh. Ajay Singh Jamwal, KAS), Addl. Superintendent of Police Ramban, Chief Planning Officer Ramban, Astt. Commissioner ® Ramban, Commandant CRPF, Dy. S.P Traffic, 2IC GRIF besides other District Officers.
During the meeting a special focus was given for smooth conduct of Shree Amarnath Ji Yatra and number of issues came up for discussion which includes identification of free Langer sites, providing of adequate facilities at Langer sites, display of flag and banners at specified locations for the information of yatries , security arrangements, digging of pits for disposal of garbage at the langer sites, maintenance of hygienic conditions, traffic management, proper maintenance of shelter sheds, establishment of control rooms, constitution of District level, Tehsil level, Block level committees and duties assigned. District Development Commissioner impressed upon all the concerned officers to make best possible efforts so that Shree Amarnath Ji Yatra is conducted in a smooth manner
