| BJP resents power cuts, irregular water supply | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jun 2: In continuation of party’s programmes launched recently under campaign against frequent power cuts, irregular supply of water and price rise, BJP activists of ward no 16 of Janipur Mandal held massive protest demonstration at Tali Morh under the leadership of Mandal General Secretary Vijay Sharma.
Vijay Sharma, while addressing the gathering, said that not even a day passes when the people are not seen on streets to register protests against the long power cuts and irregular supply of drinking water. He added that there is massive hue and cry in these days when water in abundance is needed; supply is made after 2-3 days and that too for few minutes. Similarly, PDD is imposing power cuts for hours together.
Janipur Mandal President Parduman Singh said that the area houses population of weaker sections and the departments like PHE and PDD always target people here as none among them is VVIP. He said that government should not test the patience of the masses and direct the concerned departments to make regular supply of water and electricity.
Rakesh Sethi, Omkar Singh, Kulbhushan Sharma, Raj Kumar, Ram Paul, Sunny Malhotra, Sanjay Mattoo, Raj Dhan, Chaman Lal, Ajay Abrol, Bittu, Vimal Gupta, Parshotam Dogra, Sushil Pandey and Pars Ram were prominent among those who took part in this protest demonstration.
