| Kalal: communal harmony we | | |

A painting competition was organized at Lower Middle School, Kalal (Naushera) on 22 November 06 by an Army unit of Mountain Lion Artillery Brigade. The theme of this competition was ‘Communal Harmony and National Integration’ to commemorate Quami Ekta Week (19-25 November 06). A large number of children participated in the painting competition, said a PIB (Defence Wing) release.
The local populace gathered to cheer up the students expressed that the presence of Army in their area has brought stability in terms of peace and people’s faith in national integration.
Towards the end, prizes were awarded by Brigadier KS Grover, Commander Mountain Lion Artillery Brigade and Colonel SS Bakshi, Commanding Officer, Kalal Field Regiment to the winners.
